Found this fun website -and I'm thinking others will find it neat too. Spatulatta is a website for cooking with kids. It's done by Scholastic and it's very good!! I think you will find lots of fun recipes to make while you are there! They even have a cookbook - AND you can order it signed!! I am telling you THIS mommy could use a website like this!!

Newbery Thoughts

I have not read this one of her books, but I did read A Drowned Maiden's Hair and LOVED it!!! Any comments on this year's winners???

CCBC Website

Cooperative Children's Book Center is probably not anything new to librarians, BUT did you know that they have a fabulous Links Page?!?!? This is such a great site for parents and educators alike. There are book lists here for award winning books, information about authors and illustrators, CCBC's links of the month, Early childhood links, K-12 Educator Links, Graphic Novel Links, Literacy Programs, Multicultural Literature Links AND MORE!! I highly encourage you to check it out - I even bookmarked it - what a great wealth of resources!!

I just came across the Database of Award Winning Literature - what a site!! You should go check it out if you haven't heard of it already - not only does it catalog all award winning books, but then you can search using so many different variables - I see this as such a useful tool!!
